Baruch Dayan Emes – Rabbi Hillel Klavan, zt”l
It is with great sadness and deep pain that we regretfully inform you of the passing of Rabbi Hillel Klavan, zt”l, Rabbi Emeritus of Ohev Sholom Talmud Torah Congregation. The funeral (watch video of funeral service here) took place this morning at Young Israel Shomrei Emunah in Silver Spring. The burial will take place on Wednesday at 2:15 pm, Israel time, at Eretz Hachaim cemetery in Beit Shemesh. Rebbetzin Myrna Klavan and her daughters are observing Shiva at the Klavan home, 1006 Lamberton Drive in Silver Spring. Rabbi Yehoshua Klavan is returning from Israel on Thursday and will join them.
The minyan schedule is as follows:

Thursday, Sunday: 7:00 pm
Shacharis:
Friday: 7:00 am
Sunday: 8:00 am
Monday: 6:45 am
The family requests no visitors after 9:45 pm.
